About the Blog

First of all, why B.A.G. Preacher? Well, To state the obvious, I'm of African descent. I'm also an Anglican (a member of the Episcopal Church in the USA), and I was born and identify as female. I could use different words to describe all these things, and maybe you find one or more of these descriptors inaccurate or disrespectful, but it works for me. Finally, among other things I'm blessed to do, I preach.

 

Why this blog? At the risk of sounding mercenary, it's a class project. But I could have attempted several different things to complete the project. I chose a blog that addresses questions about faith and the church, Often from what I consider the Episcopal perspective, and in what I hope is a frank and transparent way, because of the many wonderful questions I get from my sister-in-law.

At the end of the day, I'd like to invite you along on the journey of my everyday life. Perhaps we can grow wiser together along the way.
